Ceramics re-found me in a uncertain time of my life, becoming a quiet space where I could slow down, reconnect, and listen to what I was feeling. What began as a way to cope slowly turned into a language of its own, one that helped me understand emotion through touch, time and patience.
The name Encuentro reflects this return, not only to myself, but also to ceramics, something I encountered again at the right moment.
For this drop, I didn’t want to plan what I was going to create. Each day I sat at the wheel and simply followed my instincts. Letting things unfold naturally and letting myself just be. Each piece carries that sense of presence and intuition, shaped by hand and shaped just as much by everything I was moving through. There is only one of each piece, making every object truly singular, like the moment it came from.
I hope each piece finds a new home, and that in its own quiet way it helps the person who welcomes it reconnect with themselves too.
